Since my books for 2024 are fully committed, I would love to share with you what I’m envisioning for 2025, and which types of projects I will prioritize.
Themes:
Plants Story Tales: I’d love to explore further your personal connections with plants. I’ll prioritize projects with stories that bond you to your chosen plants in a unique, profound, and memorable way. Share your story in just four phrases—be creative; the best stories will definitely get a slot!
Patchwork-Style Arm Sleeves: Inspired by scientific botanical illustrations, these compositions will include cross sections, roots, seeds, and other anatomical details. Both site-specific flora or a combination of plants from various origins are welcome!
Size and placement: I’d like to keep exploring compositions with no clear beginning or end. Priority will be given to delicate front and chest pieces, as well as working around the abdomen. Additionally, I'm excited to reintroduce matching forearm compositions! However, this time, massive back pieces or matching back-of-the-leg tattoos won’t be prioritized.
Aesthetic: I'm currently exploring the possibilities of different botanical arrangements extending and interacting throughout the body, rather than following one predominant direction. I enjoy combining bold with delicate, as much as finer minimalist compositions. I’m also exploring different ways to generate tonal values, using dots to create patterns, combining and overlapping textures. In addition, I’m exploring the usage of opaque greys and white pigment, adding a new layer of depth and richness to my work.

I love making meaningful tattoos, but please tell me the full story in person, rather than via email. In your form submission, we only need:

Style (Please add links to 1-3 reference images no older than a year ago from my IG feed)
If you want to book based on a theme (e.g. “Healing Plants” , “Grandma’s Garden” , “William Morris inspired” etc), that should be enough for us to plan it!
Keeping it very simple will streamline the booking process. If there is anything you believe is very important for me to know about you before meeting, please let us know. We want you to feel safe and relaxed before coming to the studio!
The amount of sessions will be determined by the size, placement and complexity of your tattoo. I book Half Days and Full Days:
Half Days: Half days are for medium tattoos, or to finish a larger project. These appointments last about 3-4 hours, including consultation, drawing and tattooing. Here are some examples of what can be achieved in a half day.
Sometimes, if you book a Half Day, we may decide to make it larger than originally planned. In this case, the first session will be used to design your piece and outline it. We will book another appointment(s) to continue and/or finish it. If you book a half day and realize in advance that you will want it larger, please reschedule for a Full Day instead.
Full Days: Full days are for big projects only. These sessions last up to 7 hours, including the design process, as well as breaks throughout the day. Minimal concepts can sometimes be finished in just 1 Full Day. Most bigger projects you've seen on my Instagram took 1-3+ Full Day sessions, which can also be split into Half Days after your first session .
Here are examples of what can be achieved in 1, 2 and 3+ day sessions. Depending on final size and complexity, the amount of sessions may vary. As a general rule, consider an extra potential half day session for your project to be completed.
I charge flat rates per session based on the design, not by the hour. You can book a Half Day or Full Day. (To secure your session, we need a non-refundable deposit via PayPal). Some designs require multiple sessions and multiple payments. Let us know if you have strict budget limitations, in which case we may be able to adapt the design for you. Please fill out the form and we will respond with an approximate quote.
Absolutely! Just submit a form adding a link from the Concept you want. All pre-made ideas are just to show a reference of placement, style and proportion. Each body is unique, and has its own morphology, so it won’t be an exact copy but rather the best version of it to fit your body.
These are available to share as inspiration, and to offer an idea of how a big piece can look like on the body. I’m also happy to change elements if you have more ideas!
The consultation happens on the day of the tattoo, as part of a collaborative freehand tattoo experience. For this reason, I can’t really offer discussions in advance. However, we won’t start tattooing until you are certain and happy with it!
Sometimes, for very big projects that will require several sessions (or for complex placements involving cover ups, scar covering or damaged tissue) we may be able to arrange a quick meet-and-greet to discuss your options.
Process questions
Yes! All my designs are drawn directly on the skin on the day of your tattoo. I like meeting my customers and co-creating the design with them as a team. Freehanding allows me to create pieces that work with each body’s shape, respecting and honouring their morphology, and giving an organic look. It makes a huge difference for me to meet that person before starting to draw, and having the chance to adjust it along the way, based on my client’s needs.
First, we will chat about your concept, and review the reference images you brought, as well as your favorite tattoos that I've done. This will give me an idea of the look you are going for. Then I will sketch it directly on your body, which usually takes 30-60 minutes. For very large projects, it can be up to 2-3 hours.
During the sketching time, it’s important to stand still, in a comfortable and natural posture. I offer a bench for people to stand (but if you are afraid of heights, please tell me!) Standing above me is helpful to minimize point-of-view distortion in the design process.
Some people struggle to stand for so long, so please tell me when you need breaks or stretching. Having a good meal is very important to minimize issues with blood pressure.
Of course we can! You are the one who's carrying it forever, so you should totally love it before getting tattooed!
My freehand sketches are just a reference for me. I will add all the details and shading during the tattoo itself. So, when the time comes for you to review the sketch in the mirror, please keep this in mind. Nevertheless, we can always change the sketch until you’re confident and pleased with it!
I’m sorry, but that’s not a possibility for me. Freehanding my designs is the only way I feel comfortable to work for botanical designs.
I understand that coming to your appointment without seeing a sketch first can be scary. I’ve been on the other side, too! I ask you to trust the process, though, and to know that everything you found in my portfolio since mid 2018 is made this way. I am very collaborative, and we won’t start tattooing until you are 100% happy with my sketch.

Make sure that you have slept well, eaten well and are hydrated before getting tattooed. Please shower before the tattoo, but do not apply lotions or oils to the skin. Please avoid alcohol or aspirin (blood thinners), or mood-altering drugs, in the 24 hours before the tattoo.
If you have any skin conditions, skin allergies, chronic illnesses or disabilities that we should keep in mind, please tell us in advance so we can be sure to accommodate you!
Bring snacks and sugary goodies to keep your blood sugar stable.
Wear a comfy outfit that you don't mind getting black ink on. Be sure it makes it easy to reach the area we will be working on. If you normally wear bras and are getting a shoulder or chest tattoo, please wear a strapless bra if possible. Bring layers, as it is quite normal to get a bit cold when getting tattooed.
When tattooing areas that require more nudity, we will provide nipple covers and a room division to protect your privacy. Please note that we don’t provide cloth at the studio, and can only work with what you bring. If you are unsure what to wear, please just ask my assistant, she will be happy to help you!
When selecting your outfit, keep photos in mind! (Photos and videos are optional, of course, and only taken with your consent). It’s best to dress in neutral cotton clothes, if possible. This will help new tattoos breathe, and it looks better in photos! Or, if you have a fun flower print outfit, it will also photograph beautifully.

It’s very important that the photos are high resolution, so I can zoom in and see the details! You can bring the photos on your phone ready on a new email, printed on paper, but Pinterest boards are ideal!
General questions
Yes, I know how it feels to regret a tattoo choice, and I’m happy to help! However, I will need 100% creative freedom in designing the solution for you. A cover will also be at least (in most cases) 4-6 times the original size of the old tattoo. For this reason, some design elements may be limited. And if it’s a very large tattoo you want to cover, it may be necessary to get some laser removal first. I love working with solid black, and this is a great way to cover old tattoos, especially on big surfaces. We can discuss potential options via email.Follow this link If you would like to see reference images from previous projects that show you examples of different sizes and proportions. Currently, due to a limited schedule, I can’t offer cover-ups during 2025.
Yes, in most cases I can tattoo over scars, and I’m happy to do so! (Only in cases where skin is very thin, or there’s a recurring skin condition, it may not work. But reach out to me and we can discuss your options!) Scars should be healed at least 1 year.
If you want to hide or totally cover the scars, the design should be drastically bigger, in order to achieve what you want in an organic way. I do believe the most important thing is to take the attention away from scars, meaning that even if they are still there, you see the tattoo first. Unfortunately, I don’t feel comfortable working on tattoos by other people.
In the past, I’ve designed around existing tattoos, but would prefer to focus on empty skin or cover-ups only moving forward.
I only work with black and grey tones, opaque grey and white ink. Almost all the tattoos I have are black, so it would feel weird for me to tattoo color if I don’t wear it myself. If you collect tattoos from different artists, black is a great way to keep things cohesive.
I do know high skilled color tattooers who I love and admire. Of course I can! If you have a body, you can be tattooed! There is no color or body shape that I can’t design for. I can adapt my work to each type of body, giving you an organic and beautiful look. For skin tone, the darker the melanin the higher the contrast in the design, and the less grey tones I will add.
Remember that your tattoo is a wound, and needs a lot of care during the healing process (which normally lasts 4-6 weeks). Please follow this link for the full Aftercare Instructions and follow them carefully.
Some areas of your tattoo take longer to heal than others. Every person’s skin is different, and each area will react a bit differently. Don't stress about the redness in some areas. Due to swelling, you will only end up seeing all the details and shades when it settles. As long as red areas aren’t hurting or feeling weird, there is no need to worry.
If you think something is wrong with the healing process, please contact us right away and we will advise you about what to do. If for any reason there is an area that needs a touch up, please contact me with high resolution pictures of the area. It is very important to me that you are 100% happy with the result! Touch ups are free of charge.
You are always welcome to come for a quick check up after a month of your appointment. If possible, please send us a healed photos. I love sharing them on my profile! Please let us know as soon as you can! Deposits are non-refundable, but we can reschedule twice within a calendar year. I ask for 7+ days notice in London, and 14+ days notice in other cities. If you cancel with less than 7 days notice, you will unfortunately forfeit your deposit. This is to compensate me for my time, as it’s difficult for us to reschedule on short notice.
If you experience COVID-19 symptoms, or are in physical contact with someone who has tested positive, please tell us ASAP and we can work something out to keep everyone safe.
