Botanical Drawing Wokshop - Little Shop of Soil
My first Beyond Botanical drawing workshop took place at the Little Shop of Soil in Bushwick, NYC, inviting participants to explore plants beyond scientific accuracy. Designed to be accessible and engaging for both the general public and botanical drawing enthusiasts, the exercises required no prior experience.
The workshop provided participants with tools they could continue using beyond the session, encouraging new ways of observing and interpreting plants. By approaching botanical drawing from a fresh perspective, it invited participants to step beyond strict scientific accuracy and explore a more intuitive, personal connection with plants.
