Healed photo tips
As you can see, I enjoy sharing my customers’ healed tattoos! Here are some tips about how to get a good shot. Keep in mind that I will always edit and adjust them before posting.
Location - Find a lovely outdoor spot if possible. Any natural backdrop with plants, sea or mountains are my favourites! If you shoot indoors, it’s best to find a clean area with house plants and flowers. Avoid any distracting patterns, stripes or grids
Lighting - Find a spot with natural light, and be sure your camera’s Flash is off. Avoid harsh shadows, and avoid the glare of direct sun. Cloudy days or “magic hour” at sunset is perfect for this.
Framing - Take several pictures from different distances and angles, some closer and some further. Bear in mind that your tattoo should always be the star of the photo!
Positioning - Stand in a natural, relaxed position. For best results, put the camera at the same height as the tattoo.
Ask a friend - Ask a friend for help! Avoid taking selfies, because they can create weird angles. Please use the back camera of your phone, as the front one takes lower resolution photos.
I love sharing travel moments, holidays or just you living your life! Please go ahead and send as many as you want! Just keep in mind that I can only work with high resolution pics, so cannot share blurry, pixelated or noisy images. Please send them in an email at full resolution, along with your IG handle (if you want to be tagged) and any other details you’d like included!
